If you do not know your Sun Aspects find out with your Free Birth Chart Analysis

When Sun is 90 degrees away from another planet it is said to be in Square to that planet.
Other Aspects: Trine Conjunction Opposition Sextile

Sun Square Moon

The Square between the Sun and the Moon indicates conflict between what you want out of life, and what you emotionally need. You may occasionally be over-demanding of your partner, expecting more than they are able to give. You may find yourself attached to someone with a radically different background or outlook on life to your own, with resulting problems of communication or mutual understanding.

Sun Square Mars

With the Sun in a Square aspect to Mars in your chart, this indicates that you have a great deal of energy and drive and can work hard for long periods. However, when things do not happen to go your way, you can over-react and occasionally take your frustration out on friends, family and colleagues.

You are also impatient with any kind of restriction on your freedom, liking to do what you want when you want. But without the occasional compromise, this could inevitably cause conflicts.

Having said all this, this aspect also gives a tremendous drive to succeed in whatever it is you have set your heart on, and a tireless energy that will eventually get you to your goal.

Sun Square Jupiter

The Square between the Sun and Jupiter will tend to over-optimism and unreasonable expectations. You can also be overly dramatic. You are generous to a fault, but you may also occasionally expect too much in return, leading to either conflict or disappointment when others do not live up to your high expectations.

You enjoy challenges that increase your knowledge, but there's a danger of over extending yourself and feeling a sense of failure when you do not achieve the usually unreasonable goals you've set yourself. However, if you limit your goals to what is possible and realistic then there is no reason why you shouldn't succeed.

Sun Square Saturn

Saturn is in a Square aspect to your Sun. You may therefore find that occasionally life will challenge your attempts to express your true nature. Obstacles and delays may occasionally block your path to success. You may blame your difficulties on fate or karma, and with Saturn involved this may be true to some extent, but the lesson to be learned is how to meet this test and turn it into something positive. Saturn is teaching you the need for patience and restraint, that anything worthwhile has to be won through constant effort and discipline before you can reap the rewards.

Sun Square Uranus

The Square between the Sun and Uranus makes you a very strong willed and independent. When younger, you will probably have been very rebellious, and even now others may regard you as an individualist with little or no regard for rules or authority. In fact at times you may deliberately set out to shock others just to prove that you won't be bound by any rules or restrictions.

You value your personal freedom very highly, and may even deliberately disrupt a stable situation if you feel it has become too restricting or confining. Your interests and goals may change suddenly several times throughout your life.

This aspect represents a challenge to be met, and channelled into positive directions. Always ready to help those in need, you often put your energetic nature to work for others, rather than yourself, and fight for the freedom and the needs of others who can't fight for themselves.

Sun Square Neptune

With the Square between the Sun and Neptune you may occasionally experience some confusion concerning your sense of who you are, and where you are going in life. Past experiences and events may occasionally raise issues that force you to examine yourself honestly and understand how you drew these experiences to you, and what you must learn from them. However, at times, you will often evade reality by escaping into a world of dreams and fantasy.

There will also be times when you tend to underestimate your abilities, with the fear of failure preventing you from doing things that you would be fully capable of. In time, and probably after a great deal of self analysis, you will become more confident about your own creative potential and set higher goals for yourself.

Sun Square Pluto

The Square between the Sun and Pluto suggests a powerful need to be in control. You feel, perhaps as a result of childhood experiences with your parents or some other authority figure, that life is a constant battle to dominate or be dominated. Because of the nature of Pluto you may not even be fully conscious of this tendency, therefore at times you can alienate others without your being aware of the reasons.

Build up of inner turmoil or tension will eventually be released, often explosively; hence you can exhibit perfect self-control in the most difficult circumstances, but hit the roof over something trifling and unimportant.

If you can use the power of this aspect constructively rather than destructively, you will find that you have tremendous reserves of energy and will-power that will enable you to achieve whatever you desire. You just need to make sure that what you want can be achieved without causing conflict with others and learn to compromise and meet opposition half way.
